jezbernezharez ~ I enjoy your blog man, but just want to scream at some the the people you have to field questions from. So being that your one of my few followers I figured I’d rant at you, for you. Make sense? This is pretty much what I would say if it was me in your boots.

A word of advice for the really curious people: Listen to the music, read about the history, talk to a few of us who are open enough to be fank with you and then formulate for yourself what it means. This is one of the few “scenes” (I hate that word) a subculture really that you have to actually seek out. We don’t go out recruiting or saying were better than you (we already know it); shit more often than not we don’t want “you” around us. The only way you’ll ever know is, see how it feels to cut off all your hair and shed the bindings society sets on you. Go to a show and dance, get hit a few times, feel the energy of the band and the people around you. Vent your rage and frustrations with people who feel the same way, scream and be proud of who you are and feel the joy of intentionally separating yourself form the “norm”. We can explain to you until we’re blue in the face but no matter how deep your curiosity is or how many people you ask you’ll never know untill its written all over your heart. We’re not the only ones who do this mind you but we do it best.
